ORLANDO, Fla. — Detectives Tuesday night investigated reports of a crime ring that lured women to Orange County, where they were tortured and forced to become prostitutes.  

One woman said she was tied to what looked like a seat from a car inside a condo at Millennium Palms on Texas Avenue and then beaten and burned by a man she said forced her into prostitution. She told investigators that that was her punishment for trying to escape.

 Advocate Tomas Lares said he believes investigators have exposed yet another human sex trafficking ring.
